Final marks

Dear Students,

A few announcements:

1) Había un problema con las notas inferiores a 4.0 en la escala que Freddy usó la última vez. En realidad, las notas eran 0.2-0.4 más bajas. Sin embargo, NO bajé las notas en el sistema, pero deben saber eso porque explica porque su nota no subió con el 1 punto más que muchos de Uds. recibieron con la revisión.

2) Como expliqué en clase, debido a las circustancias especiales de este semestre, mostré flexibilidad con respeto a la mínima asistencia de 80% cuando 1) no faltaron "demasiado" y 2) su nota final fue sobre 4,5.

3) Acá pueden revisar las notas. Si hay una discrepancia, pido que me manden un mensaje con los detalles a sabdore@gmail.com ANTES del viernes, 2.

Dear Students,

Because the answers to the homework are on a Pdf file, I cannot upload them as a Gdoc. Thus, the document is in the "archivos" folder of Virtual. Miguel, email me (sabdore@gmail.com), and I'll send you the document!

Remember, the next time we meet, you have a quiz on Abel and Galois and discourse markers. Because we need to prepare for the final exam, plan to have 30 minutes of class before the quiz. Also, on the 22nd, you have an obligatory workshop.

Another announcement: SOON I will publish the names of students who do not have to take the final exam. I will base the results on marks up until the 3rd quiz as explained in class.

If we do not have class on Nov. 24th, your final exam will be on Friday, Nov. 25th at 16:30.
